Before & After
The story of the fire
Clay goes into the kiln raw and matte, and comes out changed — colour deepened, glaze awakened by 1,240°C. On every product page you can drag between the piece before the firing and after it. Nothing is guaranteed; that surrender is the point.

The studio
Shaped slowly, in a small studio in Oman
ALHANIN — الحنين — means a tender longing. Each piece is thrown, trimmed and painted by hand, then trusted to the kiln. We make in small batches so every mug and bowl keeps the mark of the hand that made it.
